Horse Show Results for HITS Saugerties, Week 1, May 30 - June

Congratulations to…
Caroline Groom and her Pure Gold on her 6th and 8th place finishes
in the Children’s Hunters.
Loretta Mayer and Caroline Groom’s Pure Gold on their 5th,
6th and 7th place finishes in the Low Hunter.
Joe Sorce and Lisa Zimmer’s L.A. on their 3rd place finish
in the Low Hunters.
Jenna Solimando and her Joyaux on their 5th, 6th, and 8th place
finishes in the Modified Children’s Hunter.
Lisa Dunn and her Dolce on their 3rd, 5th, and 8th place finishes
in the Modified Adult Hunters. Lisa and Dolce also had two 2nd
and two 4th place finishes to win the Reserve Championship in the
Adult Maiden Equitation division. Congratulations Lisa!
Ellen Zimmer and her Griffin on their 5th place finish in Modified
Adult Hunter.
Joe Sorce and Caroline Groom’s Grey Granit on their 2nd,
3rd and 4th place finishes in the Level 2 Jumpers to win Reserve
Championship in that division.
Leslie Ward and Lisa Shaplen’s Go for Glory on their 4th
place finish in the Level 3 Jumpers.
Loretta Mayer and Top of the Line’s Venator on their 3rd
place finish in the Level 4 Jumpers.
Leslie Ward and her Hamlet de Flandre on their 4th place finish
in Level 4 Jumpers.
Lisa Zimmer and Sarah Porter’s Harley on their 2nd place
finish in Novice Equitation.
Joe Sorce and Tom Watts’ Hector de Bel Aire on their 4th
place finish in Level 3 Jumpers.
Also showing good results were: Tom Watts and his two horses Hector
de Bel Aire and Lord de Tourilles; Lisa
Shaplen and her Go for
Glory and Nightwatch; Jenna Solimando and her No
Jacket Required;
Andrea Weksler and her Augustus; and Sarah
Porter and her two horses,
Major and Kashmir.
A special congratulations to Lisa Shaplen on her new mare Nightwatch.
She looks very fancy, and we wish you the best!
Congratulations to every one who showed! We had a great week despite
some bad weather at the end. On to Week Two and hopefully the sun
will come out!
