Horse Show Results for Garden State May 3-7
First let’s congratulate all our champions:
Loretta Mayer and Jenna Solamondo’s
Jack -- Champion Hopeful
Hunters -- out of 60 Horses, winner of two out of the three over
fences classes, and beaten only by whom other than Loretta herself
on Ellen Zimmer’s Griffen. Great job Loretta and Leslie!
You guys have turned that situation around in a hurry.
Next let’s congratulate Sarah Porter and Harley --
Reserve Champions in the Beginner Adult Hunters. First time jumping
for
Sarah… Fantastic! Again great job to Les and Loretta.
And, our congratulations to Brittany Donohue and Karl
Reserve --
Champion Maiden Equitation.
In addition, let’s all congratulate:
Jenna Solomondo’s 6th place finish on Jack in the Children’s
Equitation.
Caroline Groom’s 5th place finish on Porsche in the Children’s
Hunters
Caroline’s score of 80 on Pure Gold in the Children’s
Hunter Marshall & Sterling
Andrea Weksler and her 4th place finish on Augie in the Pre-Children’s
Equitation
Tom Watts and his 7th place finish on Eros in the Schooling Jumpers.
Also a great job to Julie Ahn and Finn, Lindsay
Werner and Otto,
Kristin Montemarano and Skylar & Carpe
Diem, Lisa Zimmer and
Cabana Boy, and Lisa Greenburg’s Glory.
Let’s all congratulate High Time Farm’s Benji on his
first jumper show. The time allowed was ridiculous but he looked
great.
Thanks to everyone for the great showing, even those of you that
were just there for a warm up class or two before the HITS mania
starts. Oh by the way, did I happen to see Gideon Popkin’s new horse arrive from Belgium on Monday? Yes believe it or not
he has arrived. Welcome Graff Caletto seems the shopping spree
in Belgium really paid off he looks special. Good Luck Gideon!
