WINTER NEWSLETTER
Winter 2008
As we come to the end of another year, it’s time to reflect on the year
gone by. We would like to congratulate everyone at Top of the Line, at every
level, for a very successful year. We’d like to thank mothers, fathers,
grandmothers, grandfathers, sisters, brothers, aunts and uncles, and anyone
else who makes it possible for our riders to reach their goals.
On the show front, 2007 was again a very successful year. Congratulations to
everyone on their numerous championships, reserve championships, and ribbons
at all levels at all the shows we attended throughout the year, ranging from
Gardnertown to Kentucky to Florida. Top of the Line attended several new shows
this year – Lexington, Kentucky and Trader’s Point, Indiana, which
we hope to add to our show list for 2008.
We would like to welcome some new boarders to Top of the Line: Kim Beattie and
her two horses, Al and Violet; Anita and Jasmine
Kerness and their horse Max;
and Sarah Cowen and her horse Andy. We would
like to congratulate Nicky
Wooley on the purchase of his new horse, Chess; Ava
Seavey on the purchase of her new
horse Augustus; Melanie Totaro on the purchase
of her new pony Sweetie
Pie; and
Ali Cho on the purchase of her horse Griffin 2.
(Don’t worry Ellen, we
didn’t sell your Griffin!). We are also excited about Lisa
Zimmer’s new Children’s Jumper, Kaniny H.
Congratulations and best of luck in Florida!
On the weekend on December 8 and 9, Top of the Line was fortunate enough to host
our annual clinic with Jeff Cook. We would like to say that everyone did an excellent
job – all we received from Jeff were compliments on the ability of all
the riders at Top of the Line. We would also like to thank those who attended
from outside barns. We would like to thank everyone who participated and was
involved for making this a success.
Looking ahead to 2008, let’s keep the momentum going! We would like to
wish everyone luck at the Winter Equestrian Festival in West Palm Beach, Florida
and for the rest of the 2008 show season. Best of luck to everyone in all their
equestrian endeavors. Happy holidays from everyone at Top of the Line!
